Anime Fest

I know I haven't written in this thing for a while now but here goes. In February 2007, I and a few other people are planing to go to Ikkicon in Austin Texas. One of my friends may be cosplaying as Auron from FF-X. I am cosplaying as Rikku from FF-X2, her thief dress sphere.
I don't know if anyone else here has cosplayed, but I am going to ask it anyway, can anyone give me advice on making the shoes and the little pouches? Any help would be great. ^_^
